If Cloud (in 7) saw Zack, he'd have another Mako attack, and would lose consciousness. Just like every other time he questioned his identity. Zack wins by default.

hmmm but think of it this way ... ff7 clouddefeated the weapons .... liek O.o seriosuly .... zack cant do that sht .... could figured out in the end who he was .. so he wouldnt have a mako attack XD .... cloud with sword skills = omnislash .... = win or cloud summons KOTR and wins anyway ^^ .... zack = look cool but wud loose ...

I'm going to have to go with Zack, I think he's stronger then Cloud in the beginning of FF7. Dont forget, Zack fought toe to toe with Sephiroth in Crisis Core. It wasnt until the end of FF7 that Cloud could defeat Sephiroth. And if Zack was still around he'd be on a whole different level the Cloud I would think. Cloud wouldnt even man up if it wasnt for Zack.

Zack was as strong, if not stronger than end-FFVII Cloud before Crisis Core even ended. Had he survived, he would have continued training (and squats), and be leagues beyond Cloud by the end of FFVII. Zack had plenty of materia that Cloud never got his hands on. And his limit breaks? Cloud's Omnislash came from Zack.
